I am a human-centered designer & strategist, a connecter, and a curious observer– of people, places, and services. I believe that design is about making things function better for people and I am passionate about using co-design as a strategy for engaging communities and building social equity.
I’m a recent graduate of the MA in Social Design at MICA and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with more than 7 years of experience in design, implementation, and management of new programs and curricula. My work has had a strong focus on youth, civic engagement, and workforce development, and I have professional experience in Paraguay, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, and Turkey. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
In addition to work and studies, I was a 2015 StartingBloc Social Innovation Fellow, the previous VP of Program Strategy on the board of the nonprofit Zero Violencia, and a member of the International Development Innovation Network.
